Foot Pod t6 Suunto Watches

Product Description
The Suunto Foot POD for the t6 Suunto Watch attaches to a shoe, and measures the length of each stride using three acceleration sensors, providing highly accurate and responsive speed and distance information to the user. Can be used indoors as well as outdoors, unlike GPS-based systems.
How to Properly Secure the t6 Foot Pod:
If the t6 Foot Pod is attached to laces that are too loose or too far apart from each other, the unit may fall off. Both attachment clips have to go below a crossing of laces, and the rubber part has to be bent almost twofold to slip the rubber tongues under lace crossings that are considerably closer to each other than the length of the tongues when straightened. This step is done with the transmitter unit removed. Once the rubber tongues are positioned beenath the lace crossings, insert the POD transmitter back into the rubber outer housing. This will tension the system, and you're ready to go!
Linking a Foot POD or a Bike POD to your Suunto t6 allows some truly in-depth analysis. In addition to heart rate and stopwatch, the Suunto t6 displays your current speed, distance from start, and lap distance. Furthermore, it stores lap times automatically by the distance set by the user, provides low and high speed alarms, and offers an interval training function based on distance. The complete speed profile of the run or ride can be seen on the PC, and compared to altitude and to the physiological body parameters, such as oxygen consumption or energy expenditure.
